My Court
When handling a criminal case, one of the most important aspects is knowing which court is going to handle the matter. Arizona criminal courts are generally divided into two groups - felony courts and misdemeanor courts. Generally, each county has a superior court that will address all felony matters. These superior courts may also address misdemeanors only if they are associated with felony other felony charges. On the other hand, justice courts and city courts are designed to hear traffic violations and misdemeanor criminal cases.
